Help Andriod 2.2 Silent/Vibrate Change with Upgrade HELP!!

Can anyone help with android 2.2 silent/vibrate mode issues?
Before the Andriod 2.2 upgrade the toggle, could turn volume up and down, change to vibrate, and change to silent; however, now with Andriod 2.2, you can only turn volume down and switch to either vibrate or silent, you cannot choose which on you would like. I want to be able to select vibrate or silent just from using my toggle switch instead of having to go into setting every time.

This has been addressed in several threads, and is something Google changed with 2.2. I'm not a fan of it either, but I've just gotten used to it. I haven't followed up on anything to see if there is a "simple" fix yet (aside from multiple widgets, going to settings, etc).
