Cool. I know this is a silly question and might be impossible to answer... but how long does it usually take for developers to jump on new source code and turn it around for root? I am obviously not a developer... but I want it now! :)

Froyo was already released prior to the source being out. EVOlution V7 had the least issues for me. Camera still won't work because HTC has not released Froyo source for the cameras. Additionally, there were various issues with my LED in V7. The Camera issue is annoying. The rest of the features I care about work quite reliably.

    Most notable:

My battery life is very good
Speed of the phone is quite nice
    Free WiFi hotspot works well

Same here. It doesn't count with no camera.
