What's spark ?

LTE over 3 different bands. Its got the potential for insane speeds, but isnt fully rolled out yet. Only a few markets right now

Sprint doesn't roll out the updates, so itll start the rollout to all nexus 5's today. You may not get it for a week or two through due to the rollout (described above here).

Sprint just announced it because they had a marketing incentive to let people know spark was here.

it does not matter where you bought it from or who is your carrier. on post # 21 of this thread its explained.

FYI, Sprint had a typo in 4.4.3 doc - it's really KTU84F, not KTU48F. Same build as was being dogfed. Looks like testing went OK after all.

Also according to Sprint, the 4.4.3 Nexus 5 update will be rolled out in batches from 4/14 - 4/21.

I haven't seen a report from anyone receiving it yet. Per the normal google rollout 1% of devices get it in the first timeframe.

The carrier doesn't matter, as Google is the one pushing the updates.

The only thing that matters to me is when Google plans to release the source for 4.4.3. That's it.

at the sprint forum they are waiting too. there was some grumbling as how sprint jumped the gun at the time of 4.4.2 too.

should have seen the xda yesterday. mods were locking threads right and left . only one sticky thread allowed now 30 pages long that reads like an iphone thead :thrasher:

Have not heard anything about the Kit Kat upgrade to 4.4.3 lately.

Someone in the know said something about it containing a camera update but Google has released that already as a separate app.

Any news?

There's camera fixes for wakelocks in it, along with a bunch of other bug fixes.

Something must have happened during the internal soak test. Better they discover and fix issues then than when its rolling out
