Android 5.0 on Galaxy S4 SCH-R970C

Hello!
It has been about six months since the Android 5.0 software update for the Galaxy S4 has been released for AT&T, Tmobile, Sprint, etc. US Cellular just got the update two/three months ago.
I am curious if Cricket will ever release the update. I have been waiting patiently for six months, and I got nothing in return. Cricket customer support didn't help me either.

What I'm trying to say is, is this Cricket's habit of software updates? Should I expect them to release it anytime soon, if at all?
And if they don't, would I be able to flash an SCH-R970 Samsung Stock [US Cellular] rom on my device without hard bricking?

Phone is dead CDMA service will be shut down if not mistaken by the end of the month.

Well I have this phone as just a wifi device, so it wouldn't affect me. It's a shame that they won't release it then. -_- Thanks for the reply though!
