Android and bluetooth voice dialing: some answers

This is from my personal experience with the HTC Aria, the Plantronics Voyager Pro, and three different roms.

The stock rom, Android version 2.1, does not allow for bluetooth voice dialing.

The HTC Gratia rom, Android version 2.2, does let you initiate a call over bluetooth, but then it only dials the number if there is a single number for a contact.
When there are multiple numbers for a single contact, it shows them on the screen but then the bluetooth dies and there is no way to make a selection other than through the screen. This is true for booth the standard voice dialer app as well as vlingo.

The cyanogen6 rom, Android 2.2.1, is fully functional with bluetooth voice dialing, provided you use the standard voice dialer app. It correctly reads "office, mobile, or home" and leaves the bluetooth open for you to make a selection.
Vlingo still cannot get things right although its functionality is slightly improved. If you say the contact name followed by home, work, or mobile it will start dialing right away, no prompt for confirmation whatsoever. If you just give the name then it shows the various options on the screen.

Come one Google and whomever.... MS Voice Command got this right several years ago!

Remember this is my personal experience
