Is there any chance that someone could possibly point a good reason why androids contact app sucks so bad esecially with *VCF files. As simple step as adding birthday to your contact seems impossible for android. Sure you can sync with google contacts, calendar etc.. but who the f*** wants that? Some of apps from the market will use your *VCF file to work properly (BirthdayInfo Widget for example), but only if your contacts are saved in *VCF.
    Anyway..
    My question is:
Is there any proper contact app (vCard editor) for android..?

ps. My five year old symbian handset can coop with all contacts just perfectly, but not brand new android.. No sir..
    Rubbish.

    Thanks in advance.

I have to agree with you on this one partially. I've been struggling with multiple contact cards and trying to merge duplicates from my face book etc.. so just last night I loaded all three my Vcards and deleted the ones i dont want and exported them to one Vcard. As far as I know VCF is the one for our phones.
