    I've found the slideme market.
    what 2 did you find.
I'd like to know cause the slideme market is pretty small and the android market seems to give me trouble sometimes.

www.handango.com is also a good channel where you can get games for those who don't have access to the Android Market.

I’ve just gotten an Eris and cannot figure out how to search for apps. Is the only option to scroll through hundreds of them in hopes that you’ll find the one you’re looking for?
    Any help would be appreciated!

AndAppStore.com is another good app store. We have some of our apps there, as well as at SlideMe.org.

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Cheers for the links,

Slidme is my fav so far (battle for mars rocks!!!)

Handango seems pretty good though 90% of the apps are paid only

Are there any sites where you can get access to the regular store and then just download the .apk?

The closest thing is appbrain. Download their app then pick apps on their website then sync app.

I didn't like appbrain, didn't offer that much on top IMHO. Value was in being bale to browse from pc but browsing on phone an syncing was too clunky for me.
