Apps Android application doesn't work on android 4.2.2

I have developed an android application using HTML5 (in Brackets editor). The application is based on Cordova CLI The application gives a distorted view on Android 4.2.2, I cannot see some icons and also a "Select" dropdown list does not follow the CSS. The app works on devices running on Android 4.4 without any distortion of view. Android SDK files for versions 4.0 and above have been downloaded.

Can you please let me know how can I make the application compatible for all Android versions above 4.0?
