Some questions about applications for android.
I was wondering what kind of application you use/download. (prefer) Do you like buying them because you don't like ads or you don't care that there are ads ? What is better ? Is it better when the application has notifications or banner and is free? How much you can pay for an application that has no ads ? (no matter what kind of applcation) Do you buy applications often? Feel free to say few words about it.

if the free app is good, then i will pay for it.

    i have bought several games:
    cut the rope
    cut the rope experiments
    wheres my water
    robo defense
    armored strike
apparatus(works out some good thinking skills)
    hungry m*
    applications i bought:
    beautiful widgets
    extended controls
    photovault
    rom crawler
    rom manager
    root explorer
    tapatalk
    titanium backup
    xbox live statistics

so the way i feel, if the app is good and you use it, then its your choice if you want to buy it. it also shows support for the dev who made it.

I have bought several apps, I stopped counting after 100. There are some instances that I will buy a paid version just to remove the ads. (Angry Birds) While others I will purchase because I want to support the developers, added/bonus features are always a plus too.

If I need an app for something, I will use the free version to make sure it works well and suits me. If all goes well I always purchase the app to support the developer. :)

    My paid apps:

    Documents to go
    Power amp
    Astro player nova
    Xiia live
    Dolphin
    Rom manager
    Bootstrapper (Droid x, droid2, bionic)
    System panel
    *****ket
    Wifi file explorer
    Weather bug
    Vplayer
    Scanner radio
    Check book
    My backup pro
    Busybox
    Superuser

And more I don't use anymore.

I say if people like and use an app, don't be cheap and support the developer! :D

If the app is worth paying for and I want to support the devolper I have zero problems paying for an app or getting a "donate" version.

I have purchased over 175 apps on the android market alone dating back to the OG Droid. This does not include the 50 or so I bought on amazon or other sorces. Now I dont have all of these installed of course.

Also I don't mind paying for an app because most of the time they are not all that expensive, and if they are a little pricey, if the app seems to be worth the price I have no problem paying for it and supporting the devolpers time and effort that went into making the app.

Pro versions also sometimes has more features than free ones, not to mention that free ones have a tendency to use more battery than paid or pro ones due to ads.

I will buy an application regardless of its price, as long as it does what i need it to do. I prefer the ones without the ads - they give more viewing pleasure. Currently I have more free apps than paid ones. The most expensive app that I've bought was for $15 dollars.

Also, just to let you know that i moved this thread to the Android Applications section. :)
