Help Android Asus TF300T syncing

I want to sync progress reading between this 300T tablet and my Kobo e reader.
To do this message says I need to turn on "Auto-sync data" in my Asus
To do this I must first go to "Data Usage" then "Android Settings" Problem is nowhere in Data Usage
can I find "Android Settings"
There is Android OS but this just lists amount of usage for a period. android.uid.email:10019 and this is just email usage.
There is an Asus sync under Asus Customized setting but this appears not to be the Auto-sync data requirement but for syncing to PC.

What app are you using to read on Android? Have you checked that app's settings?

Go to settings>scroll down to account
tap here>google>name account>
Three dot menu>select auto sync.
