Hello all, I've been looking into automated Android testing lately and was curious about other people's thoughts. So I've ran into three different ways of doing it; 1. UiAutomator (sdk) 2. Appium 3. Robotium. I'm not sure which way to go and have struggled getting each one to work thus far. If you have another way to automate that you prefer over these I would love to know about it. Any other random information that is good to know when it comes to automation (specific to one of these pieces of software or not) would be very helpful.
