    Hello,
I'm a Java developer and I need to make some Android app's, so I installed JDK6, the Android SDK, Eclipse 3.5.2 and the ADT plugin. I have followed exactelly the "Installing the SDK" section on the Android developers webpage.
But I can't run anything, because the emulator will not boot the os.
The bios thing comes up(showing the android text) and after that a splash screen is displayed with the android logo and it stays like this for even 5 hours.
My PC is an old IBM with 512 MB RAM (the emulator uses aprox. 16MB, so I don't think that the PC is the problem), I have Windows XP SP3 and openSUSE 11.3 on it.

    Please help !
I would appreciate a fast answer.
