    whenever we get it's still so cool :) hope app2sd works as engadget couldn't figure out how it works :) i think app devs will have to implement this feature into their releases? maybe not correct me if im wrong :)

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking, don't think there's a problem with Froyo putting the apps on the SD Card but the apps will have to be configured so that they can do this, might be wrong though.

    "Developers can now declare whether their app should be installed on internal memory or an SD card. They can also let the system automatically determine the install location" - seen this at Android Developers Blog: Android 2.2 and developers goodies. and wondered if that means WE as users won't be able to decide where we want our apps stored?

    Hopefully app2sd will be officially patched in 2.1 as this seems to be the biggest reason to root.. This restriction is total BS. Now we are told we will have to wait until December.
