Android Market not found in htc desire after upgrading to android 2.2

    i bought a new HTC desire last week with Android 2.1 version, after upgrading to android 2.2 version there is no "Android Market" available in my phone please help me out

    Yeah, I had the same issue.. got my desire yesterday & after upgrading to FroYo by OTA update, the Android Market was no longer available.

    Just googled for it and found the solution - you would have to perform a factory reset of your device (after you have updated to FroYo) :(

    On doing this, once the device boots again, you should have the Android market available. It worked for me. :)

    Makes sense that a factory reset would restore it.

    These froyo OTA updates can cause a variety of problems cured in this way.
