Haven't found one of these threads here, not sure if this is the right place for it but I thought I'd try anyway. I'm looking at getting an HD2 for use with android. I was wondering:
    1) Does anyone know of a stable sense rom? Preferably running froyo.
    2) Can an HD2 make wifi hotspots? (will this require a certain rom?)

Sorry if these are stupid questions

Boss.kink, no question about Android is stupid (unless unasked ;)).

I was thinking that you may get more answers in the Android Lounge than in the Updates area, though, so I moved it for you. Good luck.

AFAIK all WinMo devices load Android via Haret, which is not what you want. It means load WinMo, execute Haret, which loads Android. And Android running via Haret usually have some limitations (when i used it on one of the first 2.1 images for HTC HD, then it was draining battery like there is no tomorow).

People actually have Froyo running very well on the HD2. I have issues with mine because I have not figured out if I should change the radio and stuff. I use it every day with Froyo, but GPS doesn't work for me (others say it DOES work though). Get started here: HD2 Android Development - xda-developers
