android on ubuntu 10.10

HI all!! I am have installed android sdk with eclipse following the instructions in Installing the SDK | Android Developers, but when testing the hello world example, I get an empty screen mobile. Even when testing the examples, I still get it.

What can be the problem???

When I installed the ADT plugin for Eclipse, the sdk starter was launched again.... maybe it has something to do.....??
