Android Outlook.com App Can't Send Emails?

Hi.

I've recently downloaded and installed the Android Outlook.com email app to my HTC Legend and I'm having a bit of trouble with it.

I can't seem to be able to send any emails, every email I send ends up in the Outbox folder Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I use my mobile connected via Wifi at home so the connection is not a problem.
