I can't remember exactly where I got them from, but I save everything. I found these a couple of weeks ago on another thread about wallpapers and just downloaded the whole series:

P.S.: My apologies to the original artists of these wallpapers. I don't know who they are, otherwise they would definitely get credit for their awesome work.

Great work dude, I made my own icons but couldnt have done it without this tutorial, you made it easy with your layouts and pixel sizes thanks

One question though, did you change the number of rows/columns limits in Desktop Visualizer to 5?

Im assuming that is why my icons have such large spacing with your pixel sizes?

    paulmz Well-Known Member

I don't see where Desktop Visualizer has any options to change the rows/columns. I did, however, change this setting in LauncherPro:

    Number of rows: 5

Columns are still at the default of 4.

Hope this helps! Let me know where you post your screenshots when you're done. I would love to see it!

Are each of these set for two different links or is it just how you worded them. Are you using LauncherPro GEsture settings for the grey words
  13. paulmz

    paulmz Well-Known Member

Bingo! Yes, the lower gray words are for the swipe gesture. I love that LauncherPro's dock does that!

Is there a Launcher Pro Shortcut for Compose new Google Voice SMS. I could have sworn I used that in the past but can't seem to get it back....

nice work but im not sure why people like the wp7 ui?? but ya again nice work

I don't use Google Voice, so I am not sure how to go straight to "Compose". In doing some research, apparently the new LauncherPro Shortcuts is the way to go. I found this on the LauncherPro Forum:

Hey, can you do the dimensions for a droid eris? Or post details on how you get the dimensions. I just made my own icons thinking that you had done the originals for an eris. :(

I figured out the dimensions for the other phones by taking full-size screenshots with the widgets selected (highlighted in orange) into Photoshop, drawing a crop box over the perimeter of the orange area, and deducting a certain number of pixels (in most cases I needed to deduct 6 pixels from the width and the height).

If you can post or send via message some full-size screenshots of the widgets placed on the homescreen and highlighted (press and hold until selected, then let go- it should retail the orange selection/resize box). I should be able to figure out the correct pixel dimensions from that.

And that's the only ones I could get that were in a 1x2, 2x1, etc format. Do you need more?

Just did this tile setup on my phone last night, and I absolutely love it so far.

Isn't it great how drastically you can change your phone's appearance if you get bored with it? That's Android. :)

WOW! First off my husband tells me about this "theme" and right away I am interested in doing it myself. He explains it's a lot of work blah blah blah. I like the look so I'm in! He explains everything to me, helps me out etc. etc. I go find my own pictures and size, crop, add the text... come to find out that since I have the Evo 4 the pixels aren't the same! Grrrr all that work for nothing... well maybe not nothing, I learned how to crop photos in photoshop, which I never used prior LOL and I guess now I know how to do everything for when I figure out what size pixels I need for my screen resolution, 960x640. My husband is hitting the sack and is going to try to figure it out tomorrow but figured I would vent here and see if anyone already knows the solution to my issue! Thanks so much for everyone's thorough directions they helped a lot!

Okay, I'm taking a bit of a guess here, but try making the images the following dimensions:

    1x2: 70 x 188
    4x1: 310 x 89
    2x1: 150 x 89

Let me know how this works out.

PS: if you can post a screenshot of several widgets placed around each other on one screen, the spacing between them might help with the figures.

I'm having trouble finding any full-size screenshots of the Evo homescreen. If you can post of PM some full-size screenshots with the Desktop Visualizer widgets arranged on the screen. Try to send screenshots of the widgets selected, too (see previous posts in this thread for examples).

We'll figure it out. Just need more information.
