Android Sdk Installation on Macbook

I recently started developing Android apps using Eclipse on a Macbook, however I discovered errors (bugs) in the installation package of the Android SDK. After a few hours work I figured the issues and worked out a solution. I am posting the solution here in case anyone may have run into the same problems
