I'm testing out a 7" android tablet for work but i'm having a a problem with the accelerometer.

i've downloaded a couple of games from the market to try and test out the touchscreen and controls. The problem is that when i'm playing games in landscape that require the accelerometer, it still seems to working in portrait mode

For instance, when playing raging thunder, the car constantly turns to the left unless i tilt right up to the landscape position.

It's running 2.1, Is there a way to calibrate the accelerometer?

Apart from that, it's working like a dream. Great capacitive screen, really smooth, snapdragon processor (could be 1GHz or 768MHz, still waiting for full spec), market preloaded, front facing camera (no camera on back though), physical buttons around screen.

    What brand tablet is it??

Some of the current crop of Chinese tablets have flakey accelerometers and others have none at all.

It's Huawei, they reckon it's the only tablet that Google has approved apart from the Samsung Galaxy, and its preloaded with the Market, gmail, etc.
