Android Tablet M729 Freezing

    I'm new to Android so please bear with me. I recently purchased a new Google Android 7" Tablet PC Model M729 MID. I have only had it a short time and was slowly getting used to how to use it. Unfortunately in only a couple of days I started having problems with it freezing up. Also even when it isn't froze there are only limited places on the touchscreen that allow me to be able to do anything at all. And when I am able, its not even close to the thing I was trying to do.
    I guess what I am wondering is.. is this typical to these tablets? I got what I thought was a fairly good deal on it when I bought it from a site called Nomorerack.com. But maybe it was too good to be true? I have shut it off, restarted it, reset it thru the little reset hole on the side, and I'm just not sure what to try next. I called them about the problems and they said to return it, not that they would exchange it, but would refund my money as soon as I sent them the copy of receipt and they got the product back.
    It doesn't seem to matter what I try, I can't get it working properly now.. I can't get it unlocked once it goes into it's sleep mode and when I start it up again, I just plain am not able to do much of anything. It was fine when I first got it, so I don't know what I could have done that messed it up..I didn't install anything, I simply was trying things out to see how they worked etc.
    Sorry for the lengthy message..but I hope I made this clear enough to understand Should I just send it back, give up trying to get it to work, and give them another chance and order a new one again once I get reimbursed or not order from them again? Is it worth it?

    What you got is a cheapo off-brand Chinese tablet. They can often be like that. I'd just send it back. You could get it replaced, the replacement might be OK, or it could be exactly the same. I think Nomorerack is a reputable US seller, so they should be OK with returns.

    You might want to read our forum sticky about these cheapo tablets. And then decide if you want another one, or spend a bit more money on something more reputable and reliable, like Google Nexus.

    Just wanted to say Thank You for your reply. I kind of had a feeling it was one of those too good to be true for the price type things, but decided to try my luck. I have purchased some smaller items from nomorerack b4 w/o any probs, but nothing like this, but I don't expect any issues, I was told to return it and my money as well as whatever postage I pay to return it will be refunded. I'm probably going to just send it back and get a refund. Save my money to get a better quality one in the future. I just wanted to be sure b4 I did anything else.
    Thank You Again, :) and I will also look into the forum sticky you mentioned too.. A little knowledge can go a long way sometimes.
