I am a photocopier engineer and I need to order parts fast and on site. I'm currently looking into buying a cheap netbook but I have seen this very nice android tablet:

    Disgo Tablet 6000 / 2GB / 7 inch Touch Screen / Android 2.1 / Tablet - Netbooks at Play.com (UK)

I will need 3g internet access however, I currently have an HTC wildfire but this is only 2.1 and does not feature the WIFI internet sharing.

This tablet features a mini usb, my logic is to get a mini usb to standard usb adapter and either use a 3G dongle or use my phone via usb internet sharing.

So my question is... has anybody tried this? is they any work around's?

    Welcome to the Android Forums!

Your first challenge likely will be to find a 3G dongle that's compatible with this particular tablet/implementation of Android. Tethering will likely be easier once you root the Wildfire.

Check the HTC Wildfire forums for more information on tethering...
