Android to Android remote control?

I need to help my mother learn how to use a tablet (Hisense) running 4.2.1. I would like to remote control her tablet from my android device (virtualbox). I'd like to find an app with real remote control, where I can see her screen and what screen she is on at that moment, and control it if needed so she can follow along. Why is it so hard to find something like this?

Have you looked at Teamviewer app? I'm not sure if it works with phones & tablets, but I'll have to check into it myself.

Doesn't work. Won't negotiate between two Android devices. Pretty sad if you ask me. Mobile devices and OS's are pretty damned mature now. I just can't believe that no one can provide an application that can negotiate a real remote 'mobile' desktop connection between two mobile devices/OS's. Wow.
