Which forum/community do you use for android news and why?
I use Android Forums cause it was the one I saw first. I am interested to hear other people's replies. It seems this site had less people and traffic. Good or bad?
I visit both on a daily basis, in addition to the T-Mobile G1 Forums.
Is there overlap? What's the signal to noise ratio? Why do you like/dislike each?
And if you had to pick just one...which would it be?
Androidforums (hmm...I wonder why?)
Phandroid. Ok, it's not a forum and it is under the same ownership as AF, but I have the RSS feed.
I actually get the AndroidGuys feed as well. Generally it's repeat info. AG and Phandroid generally post the same info. Sometime AG does first and sometimes Phandroid does first.
I subscribe to Phandroid's RSS too. Good point. Was just thinking of "forums" but news and info is another good thing to review.
As for forums its:- Android Forums & TmoNews.
Some of you guys may have noticed that i also run a video website with over 1350 members
I go to shivers316's Android Emporium dot com. No, but seriously, I come here.
wait.. isn't this biased considering its posted here....
It is totally biased. I personally will account for that as I read the posts and results. I was curious about how people are moving through the android world.
i use them both
this site has better feng shui
compliments to the designers
Honestly, I use them both. Since most others do not, I get a wider swath of information.
I use xda developers (they is SUPER nerds there! They're working on tether apps and how to make the G1 toast hotdog buns!) and then I am here.
I was banned from the AndroidCommunity for being a total pest.
I've just visited this forum. Happy to get acquainted with you. Thanks.
This is my first useful forum, and community here usually friendlier
Primarily I use Google to search news on android and verizon and from there visit many different sites. The sites I visit frequently are google (various blogs), here, twitter, cnet, boy genius report, howard forums, xda developers, engadget, gizmodo, along with the occasional tech crunch and slash dot news. I haven't visited android community much.
