Help Another Question about Factory Reset

When I'm doing a factory reset on my razr maxx with ics, will it make a difference in the reset if the external memory card is out. I saved all my pictures and contacts on the card or is there a better/ safer way to do the reset.

You don't have to take the card out. You have an option to clear it or not after you start the reset process.

Just make sure you pay attention to the options before you hit "start reset". You get one chance to make sure you don't select "format card".

So, if you're truly worried, feel free to take the card out to be extra certain you don't get a case of the butterfingers.
