Another ul painfnewbie (HTC Touch HD)!

Hello Gents (and Ladies),

Advice appreciated.

Just been dragged into the weird World of android phones and have got a HTC Touch HD phone, have had it unlocked as I wish to keep my 15 year old virgin number and did not want a phone 'on contract' or the hassle of porting.

Bought phone on ebay, excellent condition.

Question, how do I debrand all the orange defaults and splash screen. etc.
Checked your sub forums Touch HD doesn't seem to have a catergory.

Nudges in the right direction appreciated.

To de-brand the phone would likely require the installation of a custom ROM. I'm not sure what custom ROM's are presently available for the HTC Touch HD.

Yes, been looking on the HTC site and I would like to download;
HTC Touch HD - HTC Touch HD ROM Upgrade (EU)

But my serial no. must Orange and therefore it doesn't allow me to download it!!!
