Help Another Wildfire Sync issue.

I can not sync my wildfire with my Windows XP Laptop.

I've Installed the HTC Sync software downloaded from HTC website.
I've also enabled debugging on the phone.

HTC Sync software does not recognise the phone is connected. I do not see any conficts or (!) in device manager.

It can not be so difficult. Please can some one shed some light on this!! any Android experts??

Try rebooting your phone with it still connected. If that fails try rebooting your phone and connecting it whilst booting

I had loads of trouble getting it to recognise phones. I had to keep plugging it in, unplugging in various states, plus all the above again with htc sync turned off too

hi, new here in the forum. I didnot experience any problem with HTC Sync software in my Win7 laptop. Try to check your Setting > Connect to PC> Default connection type to HTC Sync. Hope this helps. By the way you must "check" USB Debug in Developement.

I experienced the same, but if I started the sync from the phone and not from the PC, it started the syncprogramme automatic, an averything was o.k.
