Just got my first Android, the Samsung Galaxy S. Lots of good information here, but there are quite a few issues if one (a) owns an Android in South Korea and (b) speaks English as a native language.

    Welcome to Android Forums!

Our Forum Rules prohibit linking to competing sites, I'm afraid. In any case, Android Forums seems the perfect place for native English speakers to seek advice. ;)

Mr. Slug Moderator - I am sorry if I violated the rules. I wondered about that, and did a cursory check before posting. Apparently TOO cursory, for I do see it clearly now. Feel free to remove my post if necessary.

For various reasons, the Android experience in Korea is pretty different from in the West. Mostly due to local legal issues, local carrier issues with us "foreigners", the language barrier, and a host of other things relating to using an Android in Korea. I am certainly not trying to compete with this forum, nor some of the excellent Korean-language Android forums. I just wanted a place to discuss the topics of interest to this very narrow group of users.

And I did link your site from mine as a good resource for use native English speakers using the Android. EDIT: oops, I did NOT link yours, just the Korean site I had found. I will correct that right away. Boy, I'm out of sorts this week - too much work!

I'm sorry to have caused any trouble.
