Has anyone tried listening to music on the Droid X with low-impedance headphones, like Shures, Ultimate Ears, or other in-ear headphones?

I was wondering if there was any background hiss, which is much more apparent with such headphones.

Had to bust out the ol' Shures to check this out.

So here's the thing, I heard quite a noticeable amount of hiss when I played a track with a soft introduction. I was quite angry.

But then, I remembered that I had enabled audio effects. I turned those off and it's crystal clear.

...but, I enjoy my audio effects...

But I can't even notice with any other of my headphones, so I think I'm going to keep the effects on.

Thanks for the quick replies! This was my main unknown about the Droid X.

Yah def. Take it to the store so they can't make up an excuse for it.

    All the best,
    Eric
