Root Any reason to go Official 2.1?

Ok just wondering here.
I am currently running :

• Firmware 2.1 update1
• Baseband DD03
• Kernel 2.6.29
• Build ECLAIR DD10

I also have Joeys recovery installed and some bloat removed.
Overall impressions are that battery life could be better,sometimes you will get a runaway app,sometimes the phone will just seem to power off and have to pull battery to reset it.
Also live wallpapers fixed.

Is there any reason other than warranty issues to reflash the phone with the Sprint Official 2.1 ? Anything new in it or fixed?

you could have just read around to find this out. But battery life is better so that's good enough of a reason. I'm assuming it's more stable as well other minor fixes.

there are a good bit of upgrades in the official release,speed is one the random shutdowns not happening plus other things as far as looing all your data just do a backup using joeys recovery and after you flash restore your setup all the bloatware you have removed is still gone.

Broken things in DD03 aren't fixed in DE03. It's mostly just optimized stuff. All the complaints I had with DD03 are still around in the final version.
