You can download Verizon fios app where you can rent or buy movies and watch them on your phone. IMO the movies aren't worth it because you're paying for scale down movies (lower video/audio quality) at ridiculous prices. Get netflix and download a video converter so you can watch it on your phone. All for the price of $9 a mo. You can't beat that.

You will have to rent the dvd. There are several video converters on the web. Some are free and some aren't. The converter will convert the movie into a file such as mpeg4, avi, wmv, etc. You can then transfer the file onto your phone and watch it.

Or just download the movie online and convert it to whatever resolution our phone uses. Not that I'm condoning piracy...

True but having the legal copy you can adjust the settings for audio and video. A lot of those pirated movies are low quality and you can't make them better. Having the legal copy you can decide what quality you want.

The software I use is xilisoft. I have the ultimate toolkit package. It's not free but if you are internet savy you can get around that.
