Anybody else get dialer lag on stock nexus 5 dialer app?

It seems like there is always a slight lag whenever I use the dialer app and punch in numbers, I have tried other dialer apps/skins and none seem to fix the issue. Any ideas?

I'm not seeing any lag whatsoever. Can you explain the problem more fully? Is it only when typing numbers or do you always see the lag?

The tweaks are available within the settings of all recent Android phones in a section called

I press the number I wish and there is a noticeable delay between the time I press the number and when it shows up on the display. It is just not very smooth, I cannot dial a number quickly as it almost overrides the touchscreen it seems, and the numbers take a few seconds to display on the screen after pressing if done quickly

Maybe try clearing the cache in the phone app?
