Is slow. For instance its 9:17pm where i am at and its dark outside. Well low and behold the phone says its sunny outside at 9:17pm.

Is it the phone or something to do with the app? I mean after a while it will switch to the moon instead of the sun, but why such the HUGE delay?

I think "auto sync" has to be checked to "on".

yea make sure auto sync is on under menu>settings>accounts&Sync and make sure weather is checked off, you can set it to one hour but without this it won't do anything

I think they just have weird hours for their sun and moon, although i do remember seeing one of the cases at the sprint store for the evo with the location on the fake phone insert being the north pole. Maybe it thinks we are all around the north pole! :D

I've occasionally had the midnight sun with auto-sync on and set to an hourly update. In those instances, even when I did a manual sync, the moon refused to appear.

same here. I did a factory reset and it fixed itself. I didn't do it because of that problem. I downloaded to many apps at once and my phone got laggy. I didn't want to to uninstall each app at once just to find out which app it was that was causing the problem.
