Id love to run netarchys to overclock and unlock fps. Is it done the same way as flashing a rom? in recovery I mean.

unrevoked3 does not unlock NAND; therefore most of the features in the kernel will not work. I wouldn't even try flashing a custom kernel until you unlocked nand.

As I recall, you can't get simpleroot working. Have you tried unrevoked4?

Unrevoked wouldn't work either but netarchys kernel installed and works great. No more f30fps. I just averaged 52. My phone runs so much smoother and quicker now. Night and day difference. Pages load really fast now it seems.

I was overclocking and had FPS unlocked with Netarchy 3.7.8b and i wasnt Nand unlocked at the time and it ran fine

    And i used Unrevoked 3

If you want to be Safe and do the full monty go ahead..But it wasnt necessary in my case
