I would really like to do root to my Droid X but do not want to make stupid mistakes.
I have read a lot about it but most of the root methods available do not offer and help if you run into issues.

I have installed the Moto drivers for all sync modes and have all the stuff from Sil3ntki11................

Can someone volunteer to help me with suggestions and tech help if i need it?

Promise NOT to be a "picnic fly"........................lol

There are lots of "root tutors" here. Just go ahead, read up and jump in. If you have trouble, post up and someone will help you.

Look for the SuperOneClick method. It is so easy you can't go wrong. Probably a page or so back in this category.

    This.

I've had my X for about 2 weeks now, and rooted it using the method above a couple days ago. It was so easy, I didn't think it worked. :)
