How easy/hard will using AOL email and AOL Instant messenger be on the Droid? I've searched these forums and the internet and I can't seem to get a concrete straight answer.

With my blackberry, everything AOL is pretty easy or built in. Will I be able to use my aol mail and AIM easily on the Droid? Thanks.

I'd really like to make the move and get a Droid. I feel like this is the phone we vzw customers have been waiting for.

    How to get AOL mail:

Long press home screen, select shortcut, get EMAIL.

Put it on face plate or app list, then hit (menu), (account settings), then scroll

down to (incoming settings), put in username and password, imap.aol.com,

(port) 143, ( outgoing server settings) smtp.aol.com, (port) 587, check

(Require sign-in) fill in username/password, next page - select your

settings on this page, including selecting your ringtone etc.

    good luck.

eBuddy is a very good app for all instant messaging protocols on the droid. You can do AIM through that.
