Help apndroid and fascinate

Is anyone using apndroid on the samsung fascinate? I have downloaded this app from the market place, version 2.1, and it doesn

I installed it today to use with BatteryFU, ad the developer recommended it. I found that it had the opposite effect on my battery... ran it down faster. I have deleted it and rebooted.

I found that I had to download APNdroid 2.5 beta from the developers web page. That version works with the phone. When I combined that with timeriffic I have improved my battery life. Right now I am getting close to 6 days out of my phone. This is with minimal usage. Using it just as a phone and getting emails. I haven’t been going online or playing games.

I downloaded the 2.5 beta from dev webpage. How do I install it?

If you go under setting/ application and make sure you have unknown sources checked. I believe this will allow you to install apk other then the ones from the market place. When I downloaded it on my phone it installed itself just like the programs from the market place.
