Hello friends and fellow android users,

I have Sony Xperia X10. I was wondering if there is any app on Android which will allow me to watch live television in the UK like Sky Sports.

Similar app is there in iphone.

Can someone please suggest a similar app?

    Rgds,
    Yash

I wish there was, and plus, there wouldn't be sky sports or most sky channels because they're exclusive to Sky boxes/plans.

    myPlayer

It's a bit like Beebplayer but much better(imo) Only BBC channels and BBC Radio so far, lots of iplayer programmes to choose from.

+1 for m.tvcatchup.com too. I could only get it to work on wifi though.

tvcatchup is indeed a good site, and you'll notice that all the channels are 'free to view' ones. The problem with getting feeds from Sky is that they are subscriber only ones, and so even if you could get it to stream, it'd probably be illegal.

However, that doesn't prevent you shopping around and finding the matches broadcast elsewhere in the world on free channels and streaming those. I don't know if it's possible on a mobile device, but in the past I have watched NFL games that show on a Danish (maybe Finnish, its hard to tell to an English speaker :p) tv channel, and other sports that show on Korean tv.
