[App help] weird text/display issues. has this happened to others?

List: Looking for suggestions for display issue/problem on the HTC One. Recently started experiencing problems with certain text not appearing or partially appearing for certain functions. Attached are screenshots with the problems circled in green. Wanted to see if anyone else is having similar problems before I attempted a hard reset of the phone. Thanks for any input.

Read about this the other day on xda. Appears to be caused by the LastPass app. If you have that installed, disable the auto-fill feature and things should return to normal. If you don't have that, well, I got nothing else for ya.

Thanks shark. Don't have that app but I'm thinking some other app is probably to blame. I'll keep looking.

difficult to tell as we dont know what you have installed.

removing apps one by one is recommended, otherwise a factory reset is in order.

since this may be an app issue, ive moved this thread to the applications section. more eyes can see this and perhaps others who use different devices can comment.

this does not look like a phone specific issue.

some common questions:

are you rooted?

whats the latest OS version on your device?

Maybe something to do with the font size? Or have you tweaked the DPI?

Running Android 442, sense 5.5. Not rooted. Tried changing font size, no luck.

Gallery app is built in Google. Now noticing similar behavior in other drop down menus.
