App Restrictions?

I have had my droid since launch day and read about how there isnt much room for apps but didnt think much of it. But my phone is slow and lags when i try to go home, it sticks between screens and i have to swipe the phone to get it to go to a screen. I am using Open Home when this happens. Should i delete some apps to open up more memory on the on board memory?

OpenHome does lag more than the regular Android home system, so you have to watch for that. I do like openhome (Skins and extra screens) but I only have it on when I am showing off to friends and beating up (In showing the awesomeness of Android) Apple fanboys.
