Application downloads

I have a Samsung Stratosphere and I'm tired of the auto download on applications I don't use but Verizon insists on having on the phone. I've tried to delete them but again Verizon has that feature blocked on these particular applications. ie, Slacker, Kindle. Thanks

Unfortunately, this is considered "bloatware" that most carriers put on their phones. They are uninstallable unless you root.
