apps like iheartradio-real newbie question-sorry

Hi.

Got my Xperia Play today. Been trying to learn how to use it, finally figured out how to make a call.

I downloaded the iheartradio app, but then started to worry. Does using this affect my data usage or phone minutes? I find it hard to imagine that anything can be used without some cost on these.

I am with Verizon if it matters.

If its a streaming application that requires data usage, then yes. However, I'm not familiar with this application (iheartradio). Let's here what other users who use this app has to say about it.

I use iHeartRadio and it does use data.
