Help Are there any apps (or ways) to password protect photo gallery?

I want to be able to password protect my photos, a lot of times I have to leave my phone unattended and I dislike having to enable pattern lock on my screen and disable it.

I use NQ Mobile Vault for my... 'photos?'. ;-)

You can find it on the Google Play Store for free. You set it up, and type in your desired lock code (a sequence of numbers). Then you import your photos and the app encrypts them, so that they can't be viewed via PC either. Also, the full version has a feature where the app is TOTALLY invisible, and you have to complete a sequence of taps and swipes to access the app itself, nevermind the actual photos. (There are more nice features too). But yeah, check it out, I've been using it for years.

you could create a .nomedia file in the dcim folder on your sd card. then just use something like es file explorer to view your pictures when you want/need to
