If so, has anyone tried them?

I was looking myself, but I've yet to find any. Just the standard 1440. But, it would be more aesthetic to carry a spare battery than alter the appearance of the phone with a large bump coming from the back. Just my opinion, though.

I agree with that. But I am hoping someone makes an extended battery that is the same dimensions as the OEM battery. I've seen this for other phones, but usually it's not a drastic increase in battery life. A 30-40% increase would be nice. I guess the wait continues...

I make use of my ZaggSparq pretty regularly. The thing is awesome, and is like a mobile charging station anywhere I need it.

Do you have to plug it in to a wall in order to use it on the go?

hopefully now with the announcement of a new moment with dtv will bring the support of cases and batteries. Curious what Seidio will offer now. Before they didn't seem to care. We can only hope.

No, that's the beauty of it. You can use it as a AC charger, and take it to go as a portable battery charger.

I hope so too. I've emailed them a couple of times about it but have gotten the "No, we're not going to" email back... even after the DTV announcement...

Hate to reseurrect such an old thread but has anyone on here used the Instinct HD battery. I am debating trying it now since I am going to upgrade to the epic and this would do well for my kids to watch a movie in the car or for several "throne" time games throughout the day that would normally kill my Epic.
