Firstly, Hello!
A friend of mine is having an issue with his Galaxy Note. He is attempting to USB tether to his Windows 7 laptop in order to use the 3G internet connection on his laptop.
When he plugs in the USB, his phone enables tethering and so on and has the tethering option checked etc but the connection does not appear on the laptop itself. He tried with a friends phone, unsure which, but worked straight away.
I have advised him to download and install Kies next time he has WiFi access. Is there anything else anyone can suggest?
His phone is Samsung Galaxy Note N7000. He is running Windows 7, not sure what bit rate.
