Apps Assembling a team to develop the "Booking taxi" application

Hello everyone. I'm new to Android, and as all beginners are usually advised: to learn the language, it is better to start writing the application and while it you can deeper learn the language. I want to make an application through which you can order a taxi. I found one chat example, which will build the main part of the program. I tried to run it, but it does not work. And also learning alone is not so effective for me. So I would like to make this app with a team of those who wants to learn Android through developing apps as I do.
