i got an htc legend from virgin mobile and unlocked it for fido all works great but internet i have a data plan and i have set the apn settings to

Name: Fido Internet
APN: internet.fido.ca
Proxy: 205.151.11.11
Port: 8080
Username: fido
Password: fido
Server: <blank>
MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
MMS Proxy: 205.151.11.13
MMS Port: <blank>
MMS Protocol: Wap 2.0
MCC: 302
MNC: 37 (tried 370 but i kick me out to the aon defaul screen once i save so i left it 37).

And all i get is the 3g symbol up top but when i try to use internet i get
" there is no network connection right now , please try again later "
please help i don't know what else to do.

Hey there, I bought the same virgin phone and also unlocked it to use on Fido.

I think you have too much info in there... try these settings:

FIDO Name: fido internet
APN: internet.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
APN Type: default
Leave All other Settings Blank
MMS
Name: fido mms
APN: mms.fido.ca
MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
MMS Proxy: 205.151.011.013
APN Type: mms
Leave All other Settings Blank

i should mention that you're creating two different APNs here... one for internet and one for MMS.
