I was trying to root my at&t htc one x from here but after the phone restarted twice and the process was complete, my phone became worthless, the homescreen is gone as well as everything except the notification bar. I tried hard reset but when the settings wont open and the volume down button/power button method doesnt do anything but restart my phone to the current worthless state. Need help!!!! How can I fix this problem????

Rom Upgrade Utility. It's an exe file ran from your PC which formats the phone and installs the OS, radio and bootloader from scratch. It's a sort of last resort if your phone is unworkable and all other methods have failed.
