Just like the Verizon version, the AT&T one removes the Loki bootloader exploit for flashing custom roms and recovery, as well as patches up current root methods. The Verizon update also prohibits downgrading the bootloader to a previous version as well as prohibits flashing old official kernels, so I imagine this does the same as well.

All I know, is that I can flash through Odin v3.09 from 4.3 to 4.4.2 I haven't tried to flash back yet. Nevertheless, this all done with my bootloader being locked and having no root access.

Also when I flashed. I don't know if my stock recovery version changed.

I know, but many other people may read it. So there nothing wrong with informing the new beginners or new readers.

Yeah - there are a lot of old threads full of misinformation.

Better to leave them sleeping than bump them to the top of the thread list.
