If you go to this post and catch up on it real quick
    http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-4g/108103-help-me-please.html
I have called sprint and they told me that baltimore region which is maryland, possibly DC and of course b-more, that there is a major outage that won't be fixed until July 1st. Txt messaging and voice services will be down for about 20% of sprint customers. So if your phone isnt working call sprint and let them know that way they will credit your account for the days your phone hasnt been working. I hope im not the only one expericencing this shit.....

its 3 towers. it only affects 3g, nothing on the 4g side.. The traffic has been re-routed most people won't notice it, while they make the upgrades.. Some areas will have slower data and a few drop calls.

Just pretend your on ATT for a week

I was able to access 2-3 bars of 4G last weekend in Federal Hill. I haven't had any dropped calls or problem with service. However, down where I am (Annapolis area) I do get bad service at my house, resulting in 50-99 percent TWS reporting (even though I can get and receive calls, texts and data) so maybe that will improve. Good to know!

I live in Bmore and work all around the city and county. Today I have been to catonsville, woodlawn, downtown, cedonia, and dundalk and I have had no service issues.

    HTC EVO FTW!!!!
